The role:
- You will work hand-in-hand with the Partners and management team on the running of your own portfolio, the client relationships and junior accountants.
- You will be given a client portfolio with the support of junior accountants to assist you.
- Help the accountants continue with high productivity and quality work while providing them with ongoing support. Show your capability as a Manager and you will get it.
- Manage your own portfolio of clients to the level you would want them to be serviced if it was your own firm, delegating work appropriately to the team.
Skills and experience they are hoping you have:
- If you have managed a large client portfolio, great.
- If you have worked with big clients, you will here too, so that will help.
- You are technically strong with complex client exposure.
- Engaging personality with articulate communication skills. Someone who can lead people and represent the firm well to clients.
- Qualified Accountant.
- 2 or more years experience will probably be necessary to be at this level, but it is more about knowledge, communication and attitude.
