The Opportunity:
This is a great opportunity to join a tight knit team based in Derrimut. As a forklift driver you you will be required to paper pick orders, operate a counter balance forklift , stock replenishment and other general warehousing duties. You will be joining Australia’s largest Lighting retailer company, with over 100 stores across Australia. You must be available to work, Monday to Friday, Dayshift starting 6.30am or 7.30am. This is a great opportunity to expand your current skill base. This role will be an ongoing full-time permanent position placement for the right candidate. If successful, you will receive a very competitive hourly rate + Super.
Tasks will include:

• Forklift operation
• Receiving & Dispatching Stock
• Data Entry - complete all paperwork required.
• Move Stock and materials around the warehouse.
• Manual handling as required.
• Package and label stock
• Other various assigned warehouse duties
• General warehousing duties

To be successful in this role, the successful applicant would ideally possess the following skills:

• High attention to detail
• Previous experience in similar role Warehouse / Forklift Driving
• Physically fit & able for manual handling
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia - Available to work 38 hours per week.
• OH&S awareness and emphasis on safety in the workplace.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• LF License
• Good communication skills
• A positive attitude
• A willingness to work

Ideal skills and experiences:

• Previous warehousing experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role

This role will be an ongoing full-time permanent position placement for the right candidate. If successful, you will receive a very competitive Hourly rate + Super and join a great team with a positive working culture.
