About the role

The role of the Associate Nurse Manager (ANUM) is to support the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and act in their role when required. This is a position of clinical leadership and accountability that aligns with Eastern Health’s Clinical Governance and operational management structures. This position provides clinical leadership through support and education to clients and nursing staff within the unit. The ANUM works with the NUM to provide effective coordination, and efficient management of the Detox Unit in line with Turning Point and Eastern Health Strategic directions.

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Leadership skills
  • Post Graduate qualifications in AOD studies
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
