ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in Western Sydney. You will provide support for people with a disability to live independently and maintain their best possible social wellbeing. You will support our customers to achieve their personal goals and to live satisfying lives in our community.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
· Supporting our customers to achieve their daily living goals
· Assisting our customers with daily personal care tasks such as showering, grooming, dressing, feeding, etc.
· Promoting independent decision making
· Work within the principles of person-centred practice

You are a passionate and dedicated individual who is looking to make a difference in the community. As a people person, you pride yourself on exceptional customer service whilst ensuring customers achieve their goals and aspirations.
Requirements:
· Ability to build rapport with a diverse range of customers
· Experience working with adults with complex support needs (including physical and emotional)
· Driven, energetic, committed & patient
· Must be compassionate
· Strong communication skills
· Willingness to learn
· Flexibility with shifts
· Permanent shifts available on Monday, Tuesday & Sunday (10am-12pm)
· Additional shifts available with other clients
WHAT YOU NEED:
· Current driver's licence and vehicle (essential)
· Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
· NDIS Worker Screen (or ability to obtain one is essential)
· NDIS Module 1 (or willing to obtain)
· National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
