The Opportunity
Lithgow City Council has an exciting opportunity for a MR Water Tank Operator to join their Urban team in Lithgow, NSW.
Reporting to theWorks Coordinator - Urban, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the water truck, cleaning of roads and gutters and providing water to road maintenance areas along with other duties as requested by the Supervisor.
More specifically, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Maintain/Operate Water Tank and Pump
- Clean roads, gutters and sumps
- Maintain and deliver water supplies

About you
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Current MR Licence
- Experience in the use of watering apparatus
- WH&S Induction for Construction Work (Whitecard)
- Maintenance/construction experience
- Willingness to undertake additional training
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of integrity and honesty
- Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of Work Health and Safety
In addition, an ideal candidate would have experience in Traffic Controller ticket (Blue card), First Aid certificate, additional plant tickets.

- Between $1,034.01 and $1,144.16 per week, commensurate with your skills, qualifications and experience
