Event Coordinator
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 Gross per annum
The Grounds is looking for an Events Coordinator to help bring events to life at The Grounds of Alexandria and The Grounds of Eveleigh

The Grounds is looking for an exceptional Wedding Events Coordinator who can work their magic from the initial consultation with the client right up to bump in and the wedding itself!You will provide amazing client contact from sale confirmation through to the commencement of the event, ensuring the utmost customer satisfaction and memorable guest experiences. What will you do? Liaise with clients to ascertain their precise event requirements & clearly relay that information through event & chef sheets, floor plans and storage registers for each event.
Assist clients with all styling needs and outsource styling elements that are not in-house.
Liaise with Suppliers regarding bookings & logistics of bump in/bump out.
Attendance for the initial two hours of your client's events, supporting bump in and initial meet and greet on the day of the event to welcome them and ensure all that was planned has been executed correctly.
Coordinate with the Chef regarding dietary requirements & menu changes
Ensure insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are adhered to for all events.
Work with your client for the entire journey ensuring the whole process is stress free and memorable .
Who are you and what do you have? Demonstrated experience in a similar role with at least three years of experience.
You will be able to work autonomously and possess a sound understanding of events coordination within a busy multi-site venue.
Strong attention to detail is essential, as is a determination to seize opportunities to surpass guest expectations and enhance guest experience from the very first moment of contact.
Food and Beverage knowledge and qualifications in Event Management are a distinct advantage.
