Looking for a flexible, casual role with the potential to turn into a permanent position? Are you passionate about sports with a knack for numbers? As a Trading Associate you’ll have the opportunity to combine your love for both, whilst providing valuable support to our Trading team.
What you’ll do
As a Trading Associate, you will get a great introduction into all facets of trading operations. You will be at the forefront of our customer experience, driving timely and accurate settlement of markets and liaising with stakeholders to solve customer queries. You will be evaluating and processing customer account and retail bets, ensuring liability management of books and demonstrating an ability to communicate and escalate as required.
- Manage daily betting events to keep things running smoothly.
- Approve customer accounts and betting requests to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Apply your knowledge of odds wagering to all products.
- Assist in managing risk exposures within established limits.
- Keep a watchful eye on the events that customers are betting on.
- Provide real-time updates and support to traders when required.

What You’ll Bring
You don't need a background in banking and finance to excel in this role. What matters most is your passion for sports and a few key qualities:
- Numerical aptitude, and the ability to interpret data.
- An understanding of how betting works, including concepts like odds, markets, and different types of bets.
- Excellent communication skills that allow you to shine in a collaborative environment.
- The ability to process large amounts of information and make crucial decisions, all in the blink of an eye.
- Great attention to detail, ensuring nothing escapes your notice.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
