MAYDAY Recruitment is currently searching for a detail-oriented team player with strong communication skills to handle Claims, Collections, and internal administrative tasks. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with various stakeholders and contribute to the company’s growth within a leading global insurance company!

Main responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with the Head of Claims & Collections to support collection placements, non-payment notifications, and claim filings.
  • Monitor and assign tasks to claims assessors, providing assistance with ad hoc requests.
  • Manage emails in the claims/collection inboxes daily and follow up with internal and external collection suppliers.
  • Actively promote collection placement in coordination with local commercial and risk teams.
  • Execute day-to-day collection activities against third parties, from registration to invoicing and remittance.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external collection-related queries.
  • Provide administrative support to the claims assessment team, including file setup, monitoring collection status, and preparing internal reports.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including policyholders, clients, brokers, and internal teams.
  • Handle bookkeeping, administrative, commercial, and legal operations using various IT systems.
  • Facilitate import and export collections with other global entities within the organization.
The ideal candidate:
  • Strong administration experience, within insurance & financial services
  • 2+ years of collections/ claims/recoveries experience, preferably in B2B an advantage
  • Experience within claims,
  • Strong attention to detail,
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of Australian debt collection rules is advantageous.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
