SINGH CARE looking for reliable & experienced Female Disability Service Workers for female participants in Albury NSW 2640.
The job could entail:
Ø Assistance in gaining access to the environment and participating in leisure events.
Ø Special attention (showering, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance)
Ø Mobility is assisted by manual handling and/or the use of machinery (wheelchairs or hoists)
Ø Domestic task Meal planning and washing are examples of domestic tasks.
Ø Assisting people with exercise & hydrotherapy inside the pool.
Essential requirements:
- Working rights in Australia
- NDIS screening check
- Police check
- Working with children check NSW/VIC
- Certificates iii or iv in disability or equivalent education or experience.
- First Aid/CPR
- NDIS oriantaion completed certification
- Driving Licenece & Car
Our ideal candidate would hold the following qualities.
Ø Professional or lived experience supporting and/or caring for a person with a disability.
Ø Experience supporting people with High Needs, Mental Health and Complex Behaviours
Ø Experience using a Hoist, PEG Feeding, or with Epilepsy Management
Ø Flexible availability & a long-term commitment to SINGH CARE
Ø Experience supporting people with Mental Health and Complex Behaviours
Ø Must have manual handling experience and knowledge
ØMust respect our participant's privacy and confidentiality
ØEach person must be acknowledged individually based on their needs.
