Job Description
What You’ll Do
SIXT Australia is on the lookout for a Credit Officer to join the Finance team. This is a full-time 12 month fixed term position, reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager. We offer a hybrid work arrangement working from our Sydney CBD & Sydney Olympic Park offices and from home as agreed and required.
As a Credit Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring all debtors in their designated portfolio are paying in accordance with SIXT Australia’s credit terms and Rental Agreement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing customers with a positive experience at each point of contact
- Managing a division of the debtor ledger clients in a professional manner
- Reporting and acting upon business risks
- Processing, reconciling and monitoring incoming payments
- Ensuring prompt collection of outstanding customer and third party monies
- Managing bad debts and setting up instalment plans on behalf of customers
- Contributing to the achievement of SIXT Australia’s business plans with constant team working focus
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary level qualifications in a relevant finance discipline including Accounting
- Demonstrated experience in a large, fast moving service orientated environment with approximately 30,000 transactions per month
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks
- Demonstrated effectiveness in reducing the debtor’s balances and reducing the potential of bad debts
- Proven ability to take on any new tasks in a professional and timely manner
- Desire to work in an environment where targets are exceeded and DSO reduced dramatically
- Desire to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work with various information systems to collate accurate financial reporting
- Ability to work in Australia
