We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Administrative Assistant to join the team at Sunshine Speech and Allied Health Services in Ballina on a part-time or casual basis.

About you:

You are an experienced office all-rounder who has previously worked in a similar role. You have a great understanding of the administration, accounts payable and accounts receivable practices and the skills to carry out general ad hoc admin duties.

You will be positive and flexible in your approach to work and be happy to always go the extra mile to support our clients and their families. You will be passionate about your involvement in the establishment and growth of the company.

About the role:

As the Administration Assistant you will handle general administrative tasks for the practice including scheduling appointments for the team, record maintenance, email management, document control, data entry and other ad hoc administrative tasks. In addition you will assist Management with accounts administration tasks such as processing accounts payable and receivables, management of payments, expense reconciliation and account reconciliations.

Initially the role will be 8 hours per week (4 hours per day over two days), with the view to increase these hours as the business grows. We are flexible on the days that you work.

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years administration experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft office, Excel)
  • Experience with Google Drive and Xero
  • Experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable processes
  • Strong attention to detail
