CommSec is on the hunt for a creative and experienced Digital Media Video Editor to join the team in Darling Quarter.

You will be responsible for creating sharable, engaging short-form video content from concept to delivery for digital platforms.

You are incredibly passionate about creating original content with major share potential and are able to both ideate and execute on creative initiatives from pre-production through to post.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of multi-media platforms, is proactive and can handle the fast-paced nature of finance news.

See yourself in the team

• Producing entertaining and engaging short-form video content for CommSec digital & Social platforms, including TikTok & YouTube shorts

• Brainstorming and developing ideas in close collaboration with Media & Marketing teams together with presenters

• Producing graphic elements for graphics-led packages

• Producing bespoke branded video content for CommSec clients

• Publishing content on various CommSec media accounts, including Brightcove, Twitter & LinkedIn
  

What You Bring:

• Relevant of production experience

• Demonstrable experience in adobe premiere, audition and after effects

• Portfolio of work to demonstrate skills and abilities Familiarity and competency with DSLR cameras and production equipment

• Ability to ideate and execute creative initiatives under tight deadlines

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in media production are desirable

• Strong understanding of web, social, mobile and emerging technologies

• Interest and knowledge in finance news

• Proven track record of taking stories from pitch to publish, and experience with all the hard and soft skills of production.
