About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Exec Chef to join our Catering teams at out Villages located in the Pilbara Region.

This role is responsible for assisting or managing all kitchen operations including the production and presentation of all meal services, ensuring HSQE and ISO Quality Assurance Certifications are maintained, employee development and management, menu development, rostering, auditing, budgeting, and reporting.

Full-Time, Permanent positions available consisting of on-going rotating rosters (5-2 or 14-7 options - may vary per village).

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • A minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery qualification (or equivalent) and be able to provide a copy of your certification and competencies obtained in qualification.
  • Demonstrated relevant work experience, preferably in the commercial hospitality industry
  • Experience in high volume, fast paced kitchens
  • Competence in batch cooking across all service offerings
  • Experience maintaining ISO Quality Assurance Certification
  • Advanced budgetary analytical skills
  • Capability to work well under pressure
  • Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team
  • Willingness to assist in staff training
  • Flexibility to work, day and/or night shifts if required for your role
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening
  • A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain
  • Documentation to prove working rights within Australia
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Remote work experience (highly regarded)
  • Current Driver's Licence (highly regarded)
