Position Profile: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Public Health Regulation unit as a Pharmacist.
As a Pharmacist, you will carry out day-to-day activities in relation to the efficient administration of the Medicines and Poisons Act 2014. Other duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:
- Provide information and advice on medicines and poisons legislation to health professionals, government departments, industry, and the public.
- Prepare educational material, web articles and other communications in relation to the Medicines and Poisons Act 2014 and subsidiary legislation.
- Prepare notices, authorisations, approvals and other documents required under the Medicines and Poisons legislation.
- Assists with consultation and review of legislation, Codes and Standards, including statutory reviews.
