We are a growing artisan bakery in the south of Sydney, approx 25mins south of the airport & 5 min walk from Kirrawee train station. We produce a range of organic sourdoughs & pastry from scratch using natural ingredients. We take great pride in our work & quality of product & have the luxury of working within a state of the art facility.
We are looking for a baker & / or Apprentices.
You would need to be responsible, trustworthy, work both autonomously & as part of a team. You will also need to have great attention to detail, be able to adapt & understand that we are providing a premium product that needs to be delivered with quality & consistency.
Ideally, minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within a bakery dealing with production of either sourdough & / or veniosserie
You would also;
- understand, maintain & adhere to cleaning, hygiene & safety standards
- monitor stock levels & rotation
- experience handling soft doughs & hand moulding
- oven experience
- mixing experience is a benefit
Training for some of these areas can be provided.
There will be room to grow within the business as we have an ambitious future ahead of us. This could lead you in many directions. Let it be in operations, production management, pastry, baking, sales or in other areas.
