About the Opportunity
BTS Cooling Services is looking for a Qualified Refrigeration Technician or a 4th Year apprentice to join their team. The role requires someone who can work independently and within a team environment, whilst being able to carry out air-conditioning and/or refrigeration repairs or installations.
The successful applicant must be able to cope with high temperatures/environment and outdoor work, and be able to complete accurate written reports and documentation for jobs completed.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- General HVAC, refrigeration, preventative maintenance
- Fault finding and solution focused abilities
- Commissioning of new and old plant
- Planned maintenance
- Prepare site and job risk assessments
- Rotating on call roster for after-hours service
About You
To be successful in the role, you will need/have:
- Cert 111 in refrigeration & air conditioning
- Current refrigeration handling licence – FULL RAC
- Good all round knowledge to work on a wide variety of refrigeration and/or AC systems
- Restricted electrical licence
- Current Australian drivers licence
- White card
- National Police clearance
In addition to the above, to be successful in this role you will have:
- Excellent problem solving ability and negotiation abilities
- Great customer service skills
- Well organised and self-motivated
- The ability to work as a team player as well as independently

BTS Cooling Services offers a Riverland wide service for all Air-conditioning & Refrigeration sales, service and installations.
BTS are specialists in split systems, ducted reverse cycle, evaporative air conditioning with a range of combustion fire places available.
They also offer a Riverland service to commercial and industrial refrigeration units from ice machines to building cool rooms and set up.
