The Role: For this particular role, we're looking for a Registered Nurse to play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mental health care to children and adolescents within the mental health services team of this New South Wales public hospital. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for young patients.

Providing therapeutic interventions and support to individuals and families.

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Educating patients and families about mental health issues and treatment options.

Participating in team meetings and contributing to case discussions.
The Location: For this contract you'll be based in a quaint town along the popular Murray River. The nature and landscape in this area are beautiful with large national parks, world heritage lakes and botanic gardens. This town is approximately a 4-5 hour drive from Adelaide and 6 hours from Melbourne.
The Criteria: To excel in this role, you should possess: Qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse AHPRA with no restrictions. Experience: Proven background in mental health nursing, particularly in child and youth settings. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with patients and team members effectively. Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
