Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the elderly?Our client, a reputable not-for-profit aged care provider in NSW, is seeking two full-time Registered Nurses to join their team at their esteemed aged care facility in Wollongong. Shifts available are PM and Nights.
What you will be doing?
You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to the residents. Working collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, you will uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence while nurturing meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering compassionate and individualised care to residents in accordance with their personal care plans and clinical guidelines.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing care plans tailored to the unique needs of each resident.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Monitoring residents' health and well-being, identifying any changes or concerns, and taking appropriate action.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote resident-centered care and enhance quality of life.
- Providing guidance, support, and mentorship to care staff, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Previous experience in aged care or a similar setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a genuine passion for caring for the elderly.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently when required.
