ASAP start available for 2 x Lift Service Electricians, maintaining assets throughout Sydney, work for an expanding, reliable elevator company.

- Being responsible for minimizing breakdowns
- Looking after a large number of customers servicing, preventative maintenance work, ensuring that all elevators & escalators running smoothly
- Conducting repair work to restore elevators/escalator to full service
- Trouble shooting technical faults and maintenance
- Problem solving to locate malfunctions in lift equipment
- Working with the support team to order parts for required jobs
- Using your knowledge and skills to adjust safety controls, counterweights, door mechanisms, Electrical fault finding and replacing components
- Aligning all work completed to building and lift codes
- Reading and interpreting blueprints to determine the layout of system components, frameworks, and foundations, and to select appropriate installation equipment
- Disassembling defective units for repair or replacement
- Ensuring that log books are completed in detail and are accurate
- Participating in career development opportunities to ensure current best practice and maintenance of skills
- Make recommendations for new parts/upgrades where it is felt the performance of the escalator or elevators can be improved
- Participate in after hour on-call roster (as required) for emergency call outs
- A sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical aspects of elevators, escalators and travellator's.
- Electrical Lift Technician (Adjuster/Tuner)
- Must be a qualified “A” grade Electrician
- Electrical Trade qualification
- White Card
- Working at Heights
- Current drivers licence
