Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor to join our team and assist in the day-to-day operations of Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with Daily Operations:
- Oversee the smooth operation of the club, including bar, gaming, dining, and event areas.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment throughout the facility.
- Handle any customer concerns or issues in a professional and timely manner.
Employee Performance Management:
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure that all customers receive a warm and friendly welcome.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns courteously and effectively.
- Work closely with staff to maintain high service standards.
- Implement and oversee service improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- RSA and RCG certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of club gaming regulations and compliance (preferred but not required).
