Their continued growth plans see the critical need for an Operations Manager – to commence in May 2024 or before.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivering proactive & reactive operational outcomes, promoting a compliance first culture, continuous improvement to both systems & processes, and contributing to the overall development and growth of the business.
- Aid in creating and executing Operations strategy
- Develop operational processes and work with the other departments to create procedures and policies from an operations perspective.
- Analyse equipment/asset/building performance data
- Prepare and maintain management reports, data validation, data analysis, and data visualisation tasks using analytical tools
- Investigate data quality issues and take appropriate action to notify suppliers and other business areas for correction.
- Supporting an exceptional customer experience through:
- Ensuring bills are accurate and issued in a timely manner
- Ensuring that exceptions are remedied in a timely manner
- Ensuring that both process & automations are robust and refined
- Driving a compliance culture through:
- Operating in compliance with all policies & procedures
- Managing Life Support Registration & De-Registration processes
- Following appropriate processes for process change/improvement
- Promoting the overall vision and direction of the business through:
- Highlighting opportunities for growth or improvement
- Promoting a safe and supportive work culture
- Sharing Insights from prior experiences
- Effectively manage the team's performance to meet targets
- Mentor and develop junior operations analysts to support the growth of the company
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified or appropriate business related qualifications are preferred.
- Knowledge or experience with the National Electricity Market (NEM) is desirable.
Experience:
- Customer operations or or customer experience in the Energy Retailer industry
- Demonstrable experience in performing data and business process analysis, preferably in the Energy Retailer industry
- Pricing Planning/Speaking with DNSP or Brokering Electricity Prices
Skills:
- Strong analytical and conceptual capability, identifying trends, issues, or improvements across large amounts of data to add valuable foresight in a timely fashion.
- Ability to master a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, motivated and flexible
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
- Excellent time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Highly developed initiative and creativity
- Willing to be accountable and take responsibility for outcomes
- Highly proficient in standard MS Office suite software,
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;

- Update and maintain operational processes and contributing to the growth and development of the business
