Our Client is Australia’s leading supplier of industrial and safety products. Right now they are looking for a Storeperson to join their team.
As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for warehouse activities across the branch as well as ensuring customer satisfaction through picking, packing and dispatch of customer orders in a timely manner. This role will see you work across the warehouse, trade showroom (as needed) and support with delivery of orders to our major customers..
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing goods inward and dispatch, stock movement and storage in the warehouse
- Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch in a timely and accurate manner
- Undertake regular deliveries to major customers using the branch delivery truck
- Stocking of customer inventory vending machines
- Conduct relevant warehouse administration and inventory tasks (including stocktaking)
- Maintain warehouse area in clean and tidy state
- Operate machinery/equipment to assist with daily tasks
The ideal candidate will have:
- Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment desirable
- The ability to work autonomously or as part of a team as required
- Sound written, verbal communication and computer skills.
- Australian drivers license
- Forklift license desirable
As the successful applicant you will ideally have previous customer service or trade store experience and an understanding or working knowledge of the Industrial and Safety product market. However, it will be your strong work ethic and “can-do” attitude that will see you excel in this role. Salary: $50,000.00 – $52,000.00 per year
