The Role

We're seeking an experienced leader who is passionate about customer service and engagement of regional communities, to join our diverse and dynamic team.

As Coordinator Customer Experience, you will work closely with the Director Corporate Services and internal stakeholders to develop and deliver high quality customer service to the Port Hedland Community.

Your role will be to lead, guide and mentor the Customer Service team and chair the Customer Service Working Group to continuously improve customer experience.

The ideal candidate has the opportunity to develop and oversee the implementation of strategic CRM systems and service plans alongside creating 'best practice' procedures and standards.

Demonstrated experience in management of multiple functions including customer service delivery, CRM systems, and staffing, alongside high-level experience utilising Microsoft Office is essential.

The role requires an effective communicator, both verbally and written, with experience in working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

You will be joining the team at an exciting time as the Town embarks on a culture of change with embracing of a wide range of new technologies, a large capital works program, and a number of other projects that make the Town a desirable place to live and work.

Work Related Requirements

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess :

  • Formal qualifications and / or demonstrated experience in Customer Service, Business
  • Administration, Management, or similar
  • Minimum two years' experience in a similar role
  • Hold a current national "C" class driver's licence
  • National Police Clearance
