About the Role The AWH Vascular unit is a relatively new service which has been strategically developing over the last 24 months. The manager of this unit will have leadership responsibilities for the twice weekly vascular clinic located on the Wodonga campus and additional outreach responsibilites for the expanding endovascular service. This clinic consists of a multi-disciplinary team of medical, allied health and nursing staff. Key responbillities will include development of policies and implementation of clinical standards and Models of Care. Daily operational management of the vascular clinic including workforce rostering, financial performance and monitoring of activity targets. The successful candidate will promote patient centered care at all times in their decision making. They should have proven experience in the vascular specialty and have the ability to build and lead a dynamic interdisciplinary team.
Employment Type: This is a permanent part time position for 3 days for fortnight and would suit experienced allied health practioners and suitably experienced registered nurses.

  • Desirable : Proven ability to lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team to success.
  • Desirable : Ability to utilise Information Technology to enhance practice.
  • Desirable : High level operational and management experience within the health care setting with a proven ability to think strategically and execute objectives into tangible outcomes.
  • Desirable : Demonstrated ability to align clinical practice to the National standards and achieve ACHS EQuIP
