The Opportunity
The Production Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of a concrete plant.
With a primary focus on maximizing the performance of people, contractors, plant, and fleet, the Production Officer ensures adherence to Holcim operational standards while delivering exceptional customer service.
About The Role :
- Safety and Efficiency : Prioritize and support the safe and efficient operation of the concrete plant, implementing and maintaining safety protocols.
- Performance Optimization : Maximize the performance of individuals, contractors, plant, and fleet to meet operational standards and enhance overall productivity.
- Quality Assurance : Leverage attention to detail and previous experience in the building / construction industry to ensure the highest quality products are delivered to customers for their construction needs.
- Customer Service : Contribute to delivering exceptional customer service standards, fostering positive relationships with clients.
- Loader Operation : Ideally, hold a current Loader Ticket, showcasing proficiency in operating loaders.
About You :
- Be a team player who is self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised,
- Willingness to go the extra mile, supporting a strong team culture
- Be passionate about safety, with a strong work ethic, and is results focused
- Have effective communication skills and work under pressure
- Be able to physically perform all duties associated with the position
- Driver's license and own transport is essential with front end loader or forklift competency an advantage
- Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening
