Looking for a meaningful career, a supportive culture and the chance to grow? Whether you're already working in early years or are just starting out, we'd love to talk to you about which of our amazing opportunities would be the best fit for you.

As an Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

About Goodstart Madora Bay:

Goodstart early Learning Child Care Centre Madora Bay is located close to local schools, shops, new residential developments and is close to our beautiful beaches.

We believe each child is a unique individual with an enormous capacity to learn, grow, and develop as capable and competent learners. We encourage equal opportunity for all, regardless of culture, gender, background, age or ability. This is developed through respectful, open and honest partnerships between the centre, parents/guardians and families.

We recognise the importance of parents/guardians and family as the child's primary educators. We strive to create strong home-centre links, which contributes to all areas of the curriculum. By working as a collaborative team we empower children through a safe, secure and loving environment, where they can enhance their learning and development through their own individualised styles.

We believe that children learn best through play and everyday experiences. Play provides many avenues to build on children's intellectual, social, emotional and physical development. Finally, we believe that the centre should be an extension of the home. We strive to mirror the family through love and warmth, and by offering new and exciting opportunities. All educators through care and observation will assist each child to reach their potential in a holistic, safe, secure and confident manner.

Inside, all of the rooms are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.

Our centre was assessed by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority and we received an overall rating of 'Exceeding'. This process is a National Framework, which rates all Childcare Centres across Australia against the National Quality Standards.

Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child's individual needs, interests and strengths - as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, we have three areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. Throughout our yards we have stunning manmade and natural features to stoke the children's imaginations and encourage exploring. We have sandpits, veggie and herb patches, a mud kitchen, Balinese hut, fort, climbing and obstacle courses and lots of beautiful trees for shade.

Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.

What Goodstart can offer you:

  • Better pay - you'll get at least 5% above the award rate

  • 50% discount off your childcare gap fees and 6 weeks paid parental leave

  • Paid professional development - we offer a range of opportunities to grow your skills and your career

  • Wellbeing focus - you'll get two wellbeing days included in your personal leave per year
