Position Overview : We are currently seeking a talented and results-driven General Manager to oversee all aspects of our metal fabrication operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, driving operational efficiency, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the continued growth and success of the company.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
- Provide leadership and direction to all departments, including production, engineering, sales, and administration.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance are maintained throughout the organization.
- Optimize operational processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and employee development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
- Prepare and present reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements :
- Trade certificate in metal fabrication and boiler making / welding skills.
- Proven experience in a senior management role within the metal fabrication or manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower teams.
- Excellent strategic planning and decision-making abilities.
- Sound financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Relevant qualifications in business management, engineering, or a related field are highly desirable.
- Competitive salary package ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 per annum with performance-based incentives.
