We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at the Forrestfield facility.

Team you will belong to :

You will join a team of high achieving Service Technicians dedicated to providing technical liaison services between customers, product divisions and sales personnel.

This team mobilises collectively and autonomously based on the needs of our customer sites and the ability to do site based work is essential.

What you’ll do :

  • Ownership and Responsibility : Taking ownership and responsibility of the team as defined.
  • Safety and Organization : Maintaining a safe, organized, and clean working environment by setting and driving 5S standards.

Implementing corrective actions to improve the safety of the work environment.

  • Quality Control : Performing Quality Control checks of incoming and outgoing products as and when required.
  • Performance Goals : Setting goals / targets for performance and organizing production activities ensuring objectives and schedules are achieved within required time frames.
  • Process Optimization : Optimizing current processes and implementing continuous improvement activity.
  • Workflow Management : Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
  • Collaboration : Collaborating with Team Leaders, other Supervisors, and Departments to optimize production by identifying & resolving inefficiencies & bottlenecks.
  • Consumables Management : Accountable for maintaining and ordering satisfactory levels of factory consumables.
  • Employee Productivity : Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Maintenance Management : Prioritizing and managing production line maintenance or downtimes to minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedules in collaboration with the maintenance plan.
  • Problem Resolution : Receiving complaints and resolving problems.
  • Continuous Improvement : Helping build a strong culture of continuous improvement.
  • Training and Inductions : Ensuring team members have correct and up-to-date training and inductions completed.
  • Record Keeping : Maintaining timekeeping and personnel records. Preparing and submitting performance reports.
  • Health and Wellbeing : Monitoring and checking the health and wellbeing of all subordinates.
  • Communication : Passing on information from upper management to employees and vice versa. Attending and participating in meetings as and when required.
  • Policy Adherence : Ensuring adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertaking disciplinary actions if the need arises.

To be successful in this role you will need :

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Commitment to safety protocols
  • Quality control checks
