ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have part time positions available in our state of the art facility at Mercy Place Ballarat.

The Care Companion is responsible for all primary care needs of our residents including ADL care, provision of meals, cleaning and laundry. This role will contribute to a successful and sustainable care culture. Mercy Place Ballarat offers small household living - a small number of residents living together in each of our eight room apartments.

  • Undertake care and documentation to the highest standard
  • $57,491 - $58,601

ABOUT YOU:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • Previous experience in Aged Care is desirable
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Previous experience in cooking or in a hospitality environment

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Candidates are required to meet the position and qualification requirements.
