ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking Home Care Workers to support our (primarily Aged) clients living at home in Northern Suburbs.

This is a rewarding, hands on role that will give you the opportunity to positively impact the lives of our clients by enabling them to live independently at home.

Home Care Workers are responsible for:

  • Ongoing support provided by a dedicated service team
  • Flexible working days and hours
  • Mobile phone
  • Paid travel time & kilometre allowance
  • Mercy Health Benefits - Salary Packaging

Casual work is currently available Monday to Friday. Where possible, successful applicants will be rostered to a geographic region to aim to limit travel.

ABOUT YOU:

To be successful, candidates will also require the following:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Home Care, Individual Support or equivalent
  • Current First Aid Level 2 (HLTAID003) Certificate
  • Current Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
  • Current Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Proof of vaccination status consistent with public health orders and with Mercy Health’s policy (includes but is not limited to COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccination compliance requirement).
