Rarekind is teaming up with one of Australia's premier manufacturing equipment providers. Delivering the best industrial chiller, plastics and conveyor ancillary solutions, from concept to creation, to routine and emergency maintenance. A rare opportunity for a skilled and experienced Field Technician has recently become available.The Role:
This is a diversified role for someone with experience installing, commissioning and servicing manufacturing equipment. Preferably conveyors, chillers or industrial plastic machinery.
- Permanent, full-time role. Standard hours of 7:30 - 4:30, Monday to Friday.
- Site based work, mostly in greater Sydney. Interstate work is occasionally required.
- Install, commission, train and hand-over equipment, machinery and systems.
- Preventative maintenance of equipment and system equipment, machinery and systems
- Internal factory work, pre-delivery assembly, configuration, test runs.
- Assist spare parts enquiries from identification to order processing
- Manage spare part vehicle inventory
- Experience with ServiceM8, Word, Excel, MSD365 ERP, CRM, Field Service programs are an advantage
This role will suit a confident go getter who can work autonomously, think on their feet and enjoys problem solving under pressure.
- Must be a licenced electrician.
- Hold valid working at heights, confined space, LF forklift and scissor lift tickets.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals & drawings.
- Experience with PLC Programming.
- Experience within a manufacturing setting is highly regarded.
- Must be okay with travel and occasional interstate travel.
