New Horizons exists to enhance the wellbeing of our customers and community. We are looking for Housing & Engagement Leads in Far North Coast ( Lismore / Ballina) who can treat our customers as individuals and think outside the box to help them in their unique circumstances. These are newly created positions for experienced support worker's who want to take the next step in their career.

About you
As a values-driven person you;
- Have a qualification in disability services, community services, aged care or comparable experience
- Hands on experience supporting people with a disability or people with complex histories / diagnosis
- Be able to make independent decisions on shift and know when to escalate to safeguard customers wellbeing
- Are reliable and want to help make a positive impact on the lives of customers
- Have good availability. The more you are available, the more work we can offer as we have day, afternoon, evening, night and weekend shifts available
- Have a valid NSW Drivers C class licence and willingness to transport customers
The Day to Day
As a Housing & Engagement Leads, you will create an environment where customers choice is paramount in a supported independent living (SIL) setting. This means helping our customers to build and live the life they choose. Each house has a different personality and rhythm. You will support less experienced colleagues make informed decisions to enhance the wellbeing of customers and deescalate situations as they arise.
