What's on offer?
We are seeking a full-time Yard Hand to join our team based in Hazelmere, Perth. In this role, responsibilities include;
- Daily inspections and maintenance checks to yard equipment including the Forklift
- Supply and stock lunch rooms in main office, workshop, laboratory and amenities building
- Pick up and deliveries
- Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
- General yard maintenance including gardening and reticulation duties
Previous industry experience is highly desired. The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Current WA drivers' licence (HR minimum)
- Forklift licence
- Knowledge of industry related standards and specifications
- Carrying out plant inspection check lists
- Maintaining a neat and tidy site and work area
- Actively participate in preventative maintenance, toolbox discussions and safety meetings
Experience will be highly regarded however, more importantly the successful candidate will be:
- Experienced in operating heavy machinery and hold current licences
- Able to work in small teams
- Able to maintain an energetic, self-motivated and enthusiastic work ethic
- Willing and eager to learn
- Have strong safety and environmental awareness
