Description:
Our client is a well established hotel chain is looking for Hospitality Allrounders with great customer service skills to join their KI hotel.
We have multiple hospitality allrounder positions covering the following duties:
• taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, and presenting them with menus
and beverage lists
• setting and arranging tables
• taking food and beverage orders
• serving food and beverages
• recommend wine and drinks to complement food
• opening bottles and pouring beverages
• conducting wine, beer, and spirit tastings
• preparing, serving and selling cocktails, mixed drinks, bottled, canned and other
alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a variety of coffee beverages such as
lattes, cappuccinos and other espresso-based beverages
• selecting and grinding coffee
• clearing bars and tables and returning dishes, glasses and cutlery to kitchen
• removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables and bars
• cleaning and maintaining bar service areas, coffee-making areas and espresso
machines
• washing glassware and arranging bottles and glasses
• tapping kegs and attaching supply lines, replenishing drink dispensers, shelves and
refrigerators
• collecting payments for sales and operating EFTPOS and cash registers
• promoting services and products
• stacking and displaying goods for sale
• preparing displays and presenting stock, including specials
ABOUT YOU:
- Relevant qualifications in Hospitality at certificate II or above with at least 1 year of experience; or have at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Enthusiasm, tenacity, attention to details and a positive, engaging approach to providing high-quality service
Demonstrated understanding of Australian food safety and HACCP, as required - Practise proper workplace health and safety procedures
- Comply with relevant regulations
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required within a rotating roster
- Well presented, punctual and reliable
- Ability to keep your section clean and organized with a good understanding of
work flow and structure - Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
- A passion for quality food and produce, and service
- Current RSA and Police clearance
Salary range $63,000-$70,000 per annum + superannuation
