Under the direction of the Digital Systems Manager assist with the management of the Tasmanian Notifiable Disease Surveillance System (TNDSS) of the Communicable Disease Prevention Unit (CDPU), including day-to-day tasks, undertake projects, and planning and co-ordination.The role:
- Assist the Senior Database Administrator with the day-to-day management of the Tasmanian Notifiable Disease Surveillance System (TNDSS) and related applications and hardware.
- Provide Tier 2 application support to clinical and administrative staff for the Tasmanian Notifiable Disease Surveillance System (TNDSS) and other relevant platforms, including targeted training as required.
- Act as liaison in the governance structure in the management of the Tasmanian Notifiable Disease Surveillance System (TNDSS) and related platforms.
- Attend regular meetings with the “Maven User Group” as part of the Tasmanian Notifiable Disease Surveillance System (TNDSS) core maintenance plan, and relevant meetings for the Public Health Emergency Operations (PHEOC) COVID-19 response
- Undertake quality assurance tasks relating to the collection of case, contact and clinical data and the preparation of case and clinical reports.
