Perform novel, complex or critical allied health professional work, including assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating treatment programs for the allied health needs of patients.The Adult Mental Health Service Team North is committed to partnering with our consumer to provide excellent contemporary community based mental health care.
The team is undergoing a lot of positive and exciting changes as part of the Tasmanian Statewide Mental Health Reform program. This is an exciting time to be part of this positive change process.
The role:
- Perform novel, complex or critical allied health professional work, including assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating treatment programs for the allied health needs of patients.
- Work as an effective senior member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient focused outcomes.
- Liaise with other allied health professionals and members of the treatment team regarding on-going care of patients.
- Provide clinical leadership, support and supervision to less experienced allied health professional staff and students, as well as administrative, assistant and technical staff.
