Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Administration Assistant to join our client's team. You will be responsible for all administrative functions required in the claims process for workers compensation claims.

What you'll do:
As a Administration Assistant you will play a crucial role in managing the administrative aspects of the workers compensation claims process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include everything from data entry and claims lodgement to finalising claims and closing files.

  • Perform all administrative functions required in the claims process for all workers compensation claims
  • Ensure delivery of positive outcomes for clients in line with business objectives and agreed performance indicators
  • Handle data entry, claims lodgement, and claims payments including follow-ups on invoices
  • Finalise claims and close files as necessary
  • Perform other administration duties as required to service the fund
  • Record medical certificates and respond promptly to queries
  • Maintain quality assurance and adhere to service level agreements
  • Assist Claim Consultant as needed

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Administration Assistant position brings a wealth of experience in administration or data entry, along with strong communication and conflict resolution skills. You're comfortable working in a small team environment and have an excellent ability to manage competing deadlines. While familiarity with the Workers Compensation Act – Tasmania, experience with Workers Compensation Claims Handling, or specific knowledge of JLT operations would be desirable, these are not essential requirements. What's most important is your commitment to delivering positive outcomes and your ability to handle administrative tasks with empathy, integrity, and tact.

  • Office Administration experience
  • Minimum 1 -2 years’ experience in administration/data entry
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Desirable but not essential: Familiarity with Workers Compensation Act – Tasmania, experience with Workers, specific Knowledge of JLT operations: Solv system Compensation Claims Handling
