Job description:

Contribute to the operation of the Tribunal by supporting the delivery of financial processing, purchasing, procurements, asset maintenance and technologies used by the Tribunal, and by providing high level administrative support to the Tribunal through the processing of proceedings and related materials received by the Tribunal.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.

Duties

  • Support the Business Services Manager in all aspects of the Tribunal’s financial management, processing and reporting including:
    • processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable;
    • purchasing of supplies;
    • reconciliation of financial documents, in line with relevant policies and procedures; and
    • undertaking research and analysis to inform budgeting and purchasing activities.
  • Assist by provision of high level administrative support through processing applications and materials related to proceedings;
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Tribunal on telephone calls and in person, along with providing advice in accordance with relevant legislation and procedural guidelines as necessary.
  • Liaise with varying stakeholders to ensure information is provided and received in compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Ensure the Tribunal’s building management and security systems and associated services are operational and maintained to the required standard.
  • Provide support for the operation of audio-visual, website, case management system and other technologies used in Tribunal including:
    • resolving minor technical issues;
    • updating or maintaining website content;
    • providing training and information to technology users; and
    • coordinating support from departmental support services and external service providers.
  • Assist with the management of information for the Tribunal, in particular, overseeing and maintaining the physical filing, information management and case management systems of the Tribunal.
  • The successful applicant can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying jobs at this classification level.
