About the Company
Our Client is an Australian owned manufacturing business with its products in the marketplace both locally and internationally growing rapidly, across commercial, residential and civil markets in Australia and New Zealand.
About the Role
Reporting to the National Technical Sales Support Team Leader, you will be responsible for generating leads for the National Sales team in order to help build a solid pipeline of relevant project opportunities.
Your Duties
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls.
- Convert inbound call enquiries into leads.
- Build relationships with engineers and architects identified as key influencers in the company relevant projects.
- Call upon builder/developer, discussing the technical and financial benefits of the company products and convert the discussions into leads.
- Ensure all potential leads are managed in CRM with relevant notes added so that once converted into a firm lead the Account Manager / BDM understands in full all details.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales role.
- Some knowledge of the building/construction industry particularly in multi-residential construction and civil construction an advantage.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with high level of confidence.
- Strong listening, negotiating and presentation skills.
- High interpersonal skills with ability to relate to all levels of an organisation.
