Location: South Sydney (Hybrid)
About the Company: WOW Recruitment are partnered with a Sydney-based event tech & registration company.
Supplying on-site tech support, as well as a consultancy service for larger events, this company partner with event agencies, organisers, associations and end-clients.
Position Overview: As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying viable avenues for revenue growth and expanding the company’s client base. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, providing tailored solutions, and effectively communicating the value of the company’s services. This role requires a blend of industry knowledge, sales acumen, and operational expertise.
Requirements:

• Experience of the events industry – you’ll need to be able to qualify briefs from current & prospective clients, whilst ensuring the company’s project management team have enough capacity to take on the work.
• Work closely with Project Managers to quote and cost events accurately, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
• Demonstrate a commercial mindset to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• A hands-on approach & happy to contribute across different areas of the business.
• You’ll need to be able to create compelling proposals and presentations and will be supported by another member of the sales team to do this.

Location:
South Sydney Office, with hybrid working available. Occasional travel on-site to events will be required.
Salary:
In the range of $75-100k + Super. A bonus structure is also included in the role.
