How will you make an impact in this role?

An exciting opportunity has opened for an Assistant Product Manager to join the Centurion Product Management Team. The role is critical to the end-to-end operations & servicing excellence of the Centurion product. Some core responsibilities include, overseeing our risk & credit practices including spend enablement, supporting acquisition teams, regulatory compliance, benefit updates, campaign management and training and support for our Travel and Lifestyle servicing team.

The year ahead will yield an exciting chapter for the Centurion team, including the celebration of our 20-year anniversary, strategic product evolution, margin improvement initiatives, optimized Servicing approach, new special access partnerships & a continued focused on Share of Travel Wallet.

Reporting into the Centurion Product Manager, you will be responsible for Card Member satisfaction and retention through benefit optimization, enrollment & escalation. You will also be responsible for the overall content management across product assets.

You'll form a key part of the ICS Centurion Product Team.

Key accountabilities:

  • Support the Product Manager on the execution of the Centurion Product Strategy
  • Delivery of benefit launches, changes, decommission.
  • Operational management of benefits including auditing and relationship management with third parties.
  • Development of servicing training for new and existing benefits.
  • Representing the Centurion product team on enterprise projects, ensuring our product interests are well represented.
  • Maintaining a high standard of compliance, while identifying and addressing any operational or regulatory risks via including ongoing data analysis.
  • Optimization of spend enablement, acquisition, and servicing processes.
  • Management of key Centurion Assets, including the Centurion Magazine, Card Collateral 'Welcome Packs', and the Centurion Membership Website.
  • Liaise with the internal marketing teams regarding product positioning, promotions, and go to market execution of campaigns.
  • Delivering continuous improvement of Card Member experience, including key point of contact for servicing escalations.

Qualifications:

  • Strategic thinker and self-starter with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Strong operational mindset, including the ability to identify and improve process gaps across diverse teams.
  • Meticulous attention to detail across all areas.
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Team player who is flexible and maintains a positive attitude even during changing work priorities.
  • Track record of execution even when faced with roadblocks.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data and research into actionable customer insights.
  • Understanding of American Express products and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills to influence at all levels.
