Join Macquarie's Client Lifecyle Management (CLM) team in a newly established role to play a leading role within a transformation initiative and managing its ongoing data strategy. Client Lifecyle Management team are responsible for the management of clients from Macquarie's global institutional businesses across onboarding, daily risk screening, periodic reviews, and data analytics.

What role will you play?

As the Counterparty Data Product Owner in the CLM team, you will own and deliver the data strategy and define the roadmap for the Counterparty Data Product, ensuring alignment to the strategy and with consideration of business goals and priorities across all stakeholders. You will be accountable for the quality and ongoing management of data. The initial phase of this role will be part of a major cross group transformation project to uplift the management of data. You will form a key role within the project and the CLM team and will need to work closely with stakeholders across the group to define and prioritise requirements for the Counterparty Data Product. Our aim is to ensure the data we own and manage is a trusted source within the organisation and can leverage it to support our obligations as well as drive commercial opportunities. You will play a key role to shape the future of data as an asset within Macquarie.

What you offer

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Product Owner within the data space, ideally for data products, experience within client onboarding / Know Your Customer (KYC) an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and strategic thinking, including the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders and advocating for the data strategy across the organisation
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, actively problem solve and navigate through a dynamic environment with evolving data maturity
  • A passion for all things data and innovative technologies
  • Good understanding of the key elements to manage and implement data management/governance/control frameworks.
