Leading Hand - Component Rebuild Centre
Our Component Rebuild Centre (CRC) in Tomago is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Plant Mechanic.
Our CRC specialises in the overhaul of Engines, Transmissions, Powertrains and Final Drives from CAT machines. Catering to clients throughout NSW & ACT, our workshop prioritises minimising downtime and ensuring component reliability. This is where your role becomes crucial! Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, a Leading Hand position will see you utilising your experience to provide mechanical and technical support to a team of skilled mechanics. With a strong focus on safety, you will drive output and help to foster a collaborative mindset throughout the department.
Roster & Remuneration

• Monday - Friday, overtime available
• 2 weeks dayshift, 2 weeks nightshift
• Annual earnings from $143,000+

*Rates above are a guide only and each candidate will be assessed based on competencies and experience
Skills & Experience
As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills:

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Mechanical trade qualification (Australian trade recognised)
• Familiarity with Caterpillar Equipment
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements
• Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
• Strong job planning skills
