Description:

Fuelfix & Tanks2Go is a leader in the provision of fuel management and emissions solutions, with four main business streams are Repairs and Maintenance, Tank Hire and Sales, Fuel Projects and Facility Management.

The role works cooperatively with other team members to deliver solutions for our clients through the provision of Industry and Trade qualified services to support the business.

We are seeking a suitably experienced person with high level welding skills, who is highly motivated, energetic and flexible to join our growing Townsville team. Experience in boiler making/mechanical industry essential to be able to integrate quickly. Whilst the role is workshop based, some travel will be required to support clients equipment and services.

The Position:

  • Maintenance and repair of existing underground and above ground fuel systems including tanks, pumps, dispensers, pipelines, instruments, fuel trailers and associated equipment
  • Tank and pipe testing
  • Pump upgrades and replacements
  • Tank removals and site decommissioning
  • Fuel terminal work

Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant trade qualifications essential
  • High level TIG/MIG skills essential
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills with close attention to detail
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work without supervision
  • High standards in relation to safety and quality of work
  • Petroleum, hydraulics and service-based industry experience an advantage
  • HRW licence / WAH / EWP / Confined Space qualifications highly desirable
