Description:

Pro-draulics is a small busy hydraulic and pneumatic workshop business based in the Bohle, Townsville. We are looking for an Administration Officer in a full time permanent role. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office. You will be responsible for handling a variety of administration, sales and store tasks to support our friendly team.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry daily, including purchase orders, bills, timesheets, invoicing, must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Reckon Hosted, (or similar accounting program).
  • Ability to source, order and price parts to create estimates and jobs for customers, keeping accurate records.
  • Inventory management, including monitoring parts in stores, monthly stock orders, checking stock when received, re-stocking store and trailer, regular stock takes and ability to identify parts to pick and invoice.
  • Checking in freight to ensure all is correct, identifying if any errors, following up with suppliers, labelling parts and dispatching freight to customers in a timely manner.
  • Ability to identify both metric and imperial sizes of different components would be an advantage.
  • Manage incoming / outgoing emails and telephone calls. Greeting customers face-to-face and assisting with their enquiries.
  • Exceptional time management, organisational, professional open communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Must be able to stay focused through many interruptions, during a busy work schedule on a daily basis. Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, typing proficiency.
  • There is a high degree of working autonomously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $52,000.00 – $56,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift
