It is a large state government department that plans, manages and delivers Queensland's integrated transport system to achieve sustainable transport solutions for road, rail and sea.
Your new role
It is a 12-month contracted position based in Brisbane CBD. You will be working within the Project Support Team. Duties in this role will include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting project managers and team members
- Document and report management and preparation
- Utilise a range of software programs, databases and information management systems to provide high level support to project management
- Enhance the timely and effective delivery of projects
- Ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation, organisational procedures and processes.
- Coordinate team meetings
- Taking and distributing minutes
- Establishing and maintaining spreadsheets and registers
What you'll need to succeed

A current class C driving licence.

Willingness to undergo a criminal history check upon successful appointment

Experience in project roles/ major infrastructure projects

Formal qualifications desirable but not mandatory

Ability to maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior executives
