An exciting new opportunity has become available for an experienced Head of Digital Marketing to lead our in-house digital marketing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's digital marketing strategies and initiatives. You will be responsible for leading a team, creating and executing innovative digital campaigns, and optimizing our online presence to enhance brand visibility and revenue growth.


This is a full time fixed term contract to cover maternity leave until July 2025.


Key Responsibilities -


  • Management of the Digital team, overseeing performance and delivery to ensure targets are met.
  • Develop and execute holistic digital strategies across e-commerce, paid advertising, CRM and SEO.
  • Drive appointment bookings and online sales in line with business targets
  • Identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscapes to create innovative campaigns that resonate with potential and existing customers.
  • Work closely with the Head of Brand to execute brand campaigns in an elevated way across all digital channels.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages idea sharing and cross-functional cooperation.
  • In collaboration with the Performance Marketing Specialist, plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across diverse platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tik Tok, LinkedIn and more.
  • Strategically allocate budgets to maximize reach and engagement while maintaining a strong return on ad spend (ROAS)
  • Monitor and analyse website analytics, social media insights, and campaign performance data to derive actionable insights and make informed decisions based on data, adjusting strategies and tactics to optimize performance and achieve KPIs.
  • Set clear performance expectations for the team and establish KPIs to assess individual and collective performance.
  • Manage email marketing strategies, including content, personalisation & segmentation strategy, re-engagement plans and driving the acquisition of new sign ups.
  • Actively apply customer insights and business performance data to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Partnering with external Agencies to develop and execute comprehensive strategies to improve customer experience and site usability to drive conversion increase.
  • Analyse and report on all key metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for the business.


Essential Knowledge/Behaviors:


  • 7 - 10 years experience in managing and leading digital marketing efforts across various channels. This experience should include strategic planning, optimising performance, and contributing to overall business growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/Business or related
  • Shopify experience essential
  • Experience in e-commerce platforms, online and digital marketing and strong commercial experience and acumen within e-commerce and online
  • A strong understanding of various digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and influencer partnerships.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools to track and measure digital marketing performance, deriving insights, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and workflows to streamline processes and optimise customer journeys.
  • Understanding of the e-commerce landscape, customer buying behaviours, and tactics to drive online sales and conversions.
  • Familiarity with on-page and off-page SEO techniques, keyword research, and optimisation strategies to improve organic search rankings.
  • Understanding of CRO principles and strategies to enhance website user experience and maximise conversion rates.
  • Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and industry innovations.
  • Ability to analyze competitor digital marketing strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
  • A strategic mindset to align digital marketing efforts with overall business goals, drive growth, and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to deliver presentation and proposals to the Executive team
