Job Description
The Payroll and Accounts Officer position will primarily be responsible for all transactional finance duties as required within the day to day operations.
More specifically, this will include:
- Managing of end to end Payroll using Xero, including managing PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, reporting, and reconciliation requirements.
- Manage Accounts Payable, ensuring that suppliers and sub-contractors are paid within agreed terms.
- Maintenance of financial records, including monthly reports for Directors.
- Reconciliation of Accounts.
- Preparation of Management reports within agreed time frames.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will possess strong experience of all aspects of Transactional Accounting, including having completed end to end payroll duties. Ideally you will also have prior experience using Xero Accounting software. Relevant qualifications e.g. Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping will also be highly regarded.
Additional highly valued skills include:
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with an ability to interact with various levels of stakeholders.
- Good understanding of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Flexibility to assist with HR administrative or Finance tasks as required.

I have a broad salary range of $75,000-90,000 + Superannuation, dependent on experience.
