WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

You'll be at the forefront of client interactions and project execution. Your main focus will be on troubleshooting with clients and delivering tailored, in-person solutions for their website projects. Your core responsibilities include delivering innovative web design solutions, crafting user-centric wireframes and designs, over seeing WordPress-based website builds, efficiently managing site migrations and launches, and swiftly addressing development issues. Once the design work is done, you will be involved in providing ongoing support and performance oversight of hosted websites, ensuring optimal security. Clear communications of project timelines from yourself, to both team members and clients, along with close collaboration in strategising and planning sitemaps for upcoming web projects, will be essential to make you the right fit for this dynamic position.

YOU WILL NEED...

  • 2+ years' experience within a web designer or front-end development role
  • The ability to make appealing and useable websites - Wordpress is ESSENTIAL!
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, including but not limited to Figma, XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Experience in WordPress page builders such as Elementor, Divi, and WPBakery
  • Knowledge in eCommerce platforms like WooCom and Shopify
  • Coding experience in HTML and CSS - The ability to carry out the deployment processes, browser testing, and debugging
  • Strong communications skills - both written and verbal, this is a client facing role
  • The desire to stay up to date with industry trends and new software updates
  • The desire to lead a department in the future - line management training will be provided!!

IT'S NICE TO HAVE...

  • Experience using WMPDev - if not we can provide training, it's an easy one!
  • Previous line management experience
