We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic applicants for the role of Executive Director, Governance and Corporate Services.

About the role

The role provides strategic leadership and management of the corporate services, asset management, and governance functions across the Commission to ensure the provision of quality, corporate support services. The Executive Director Governance and Corporate Services supports three independent bodies, the Mental Health Advocacy Service, the Mental Health Tribunal and the Office of the Chief Psychiatrist, which operate independently, with corporate support services.

As a member of the Senior Executive Group, the position leads the strategic and operational planning, business planning, reporting and improvement activities, ensures appropriate governance, leads change management and oversights the financial, information and technology, procurement, performance reporting and employee resources to ensure budgetary, legislative compliance and statutory obligations are met.

In undertaking the role of this position, the occupant will need to recognise that there is a commitment to focussing on the needs of the individual, their families, carers or advocates working in partnership for better mental health and alcohol and other drugs outcomes.
